The Start of Something Beautiful

Hello everyone, I'd like to take a minute to introduce myself. I'll try to keep it short and sweet as I'm never good at these intros as I'm never sure how much is too much or not enough. Glad I only have to do this once.

Anyway, I write a baseball blog called "The Diamond Cutter" where I cover all of Major League Baseball and its prospects. This site is my baby and has taken me a long way over the past couple of years. Funny thing is that I actually started it back in the early parts of 2006 right here on MLBlogs. I guess I've kinda come full circle. Kinda.

My work on "The Diamond Cutter" has opened a lot of doors for me over the years. It has lead to me writing professionally for two outstanding companies, "Most Valuable Network" and "Baseball Digest Daily," enabled me to have my work featured on many prestigious sites such as "Sports Illustrated" and "The Hardball Times," and even brought me to my greatest point in my career when I obtained my press credentials at the Metrodome before the 2008 season enabling me to cover the Minnesota Twins from the inside. I still can't get over that one.

On "The Diamond Cutter" I do very detailed scouting reports and analysis of players and prospects including my top 25 prospects list which has been featured as one of the best on the internet. But through all the success that I have had writing for the site, I try to keep it on task and serious as possible since that is what it is supposed to be.

Enter "Minnesota Twinsider."

The reason I decided to write this blog is because on "The Diamond Cutter" I do constant scouting reports, interviewing of players, deep analysis and very stat intensive columns meaning I can't give my feelings on how the Twins did last night as that wouldn't be responsible journalism since my site is supposed to be unbiased. That's why this blog will be a great outlet for me to write specifically about my favorite team. The team I have watched and loved my entire life.

(I can hear the music begin to play in the background to usher me off the stage so let me wrap this up).

I hope you all enjoy this blog and if you are a Twins fan, I think you will. If you have a chance I also hope you jump over to "The Diamond Cutter" and give it a chance too if you are looking for deep coverage of baseball.

Now I can sit back, relax and try to figure out why in the hell the Twins haven't done anything to improve themselves for the upcoming season.

Good times.
